Donnie G. has promoted a plethora of
bands since the 1980s and has written
for newspapers like Fred's Papers, the
Shoreview and the Shore Herald. After
growing tired of spending his time
achieving other people's dreams, he
decided to start publishing The Rag in
2004. He's also appeared in many local
plays and movies, including Scarlet
Moon and the Murder Mystery Series.

Jenny has been writing for The Rag
since the first issue. She currently
writes the Good Eats and Jaunting in
Jersey columns, but in the past also
wrote various feature articles and play
reviews. When she's not in search of
her next article, she works as a
preschool teacher in the Head Start
program. She's also currently working
on a pilot for a children's TV show.

journalist, covering any and all
things that rock. A recent Jersey Shore
convert (and the world's biggest Bruce
Springsteen fan), she's been fitting in just fine and will be jamming with

The mysterious Queen Spartina has
been providing The Rag with her
bizarre astrological insights since the
first issue. Rumor has it that she once
smuggled certain plants out of the
tropics, but grew weary of the travel.

Starting The Rag with Donnie G. back
in 2004, Bear has been an art director/
editor for 13 years, having worked at
the Ocean Grove Times, the Shoreview, the OceanView, Fred's Papers,
the Asbury Park Press, Home Source and Trader Publishing. He's also worked as a marketing director.He's the captain of the Beach Patrol and the Stokes Fire Company in Ocean Grove.

Warren has also been writing for
The Rag since the first issue. His love of sci fi, horror and fantasy movies
has led him to begin making his own feature films, all of which have gone
on to critical success. Scarlet Moon,
Flesh Eaters from Outer Space,
Invasion for Flesh & Blood and
Haunted Hay Ride: The Movie have all
been shot along the Jersey Shore.

Christine writes a variety of articles for
The Rag, and is an English professor at a university in New Jersey. She has
written a book of poetry, "Frame by
Frame," that can be purchased here.
She also enjoys writing the occasional
short play comedy piece.
